Veechaar (or vichar karna) is a Punjabi term with a range of meanings that includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following actions: to think, to ponder, to create ideas, to conceptualize, to develop a viewpoint, to reflect, to imagine, to deliberate, to consult, to exchange views, to discuss, to negotiate, to contemplate, to mediate on, …etc.
In short, veechaar.com is a site for discursive exchange of ideas about topics and issues that relate to the Sikh world in general. Our purpose is to provide a forum allowing progressive minded individuals, institutions involved in all aspects of Sikh life (education, health etc) to network, to learn from each other, to be able to think freely and flourish.
